Engineering

Atlantic Aerospace & Defense has the education, training and experience to serve you.

Education - All of our engineers have degrees in Engineering from some of America’s top universities. In this ever-changing field, AAD understands the value of continuing education and supports its employees as they work toward advanced degrees.

Training - Most of our engineers have received military training at some point in their careers. This training has provided them with the knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques. They are current on many types of requirements, such as Mil-Specs and Standards, as well as industry specs & OEM standards that the US Government is trying to adopt. Engineers without extensive training are partnered with senior engineers to provide mentorship and guidance.

Experience - The majority of our engineers have over seven years of experience on major programs.  All of the senior staff have held Engineering Authority on more than one military system, including change authority (e.g. ECOs), configuration control, and MRB.  Should the need arise to present proposals to similar review boards, AAD will collaborate with your team in order to ensure success.

Here are a few of the solutions we can provide:

  • Analysis (Failure, First Article Inspections, Stress)
  • Repair/Overhaul
  • Reverse Engineering (to include drawings)
  • Process Control (Machining, Welding, Heat Treatments, Use of Tooling, etc..)
  • Training

Our Engineers have worked with some of the best names in the Industry, including:

  • BOEING

Technical Writing – If you have a need for the creation of a clear, concise technical manual or pamphlet, we can help. Our guides include drawings, photos, illustrations, assemblies and/or IPBs. Our engineers are available to write everything from military manuals to operator guides and commercial printing.
